Do dreams really come true…
Or is it our own actions? Listen here
If we look at the strict definition of a dream, we find the following…
“A dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind, during certain stages of sleep”.
Much can be read of why we dream and we often use the word “dream” in a different context, as in an aspiration!
It’s important in life that we set goals for ourselves…It’s the creation of goals that motivate us to strive for the success attached to the goals. Without goals we have no motivation, and so the need is obvious!
Part of any success that we achieve is the importance that we place on the event(s). One powerful way to succeed is the visualisation of the event/goal itself. Whatever it may be, the creation of a powerful image and a picture of that success carefully planted in our minds becomes an immensely powerful form of motivation. We can switch the image on at any time…It becomes a light leading us towards our chosen goal.
If we think of affirmations as another form of motivation…powerful statements of us achieving our future success, but each statement written in the present tense and as if the success were happening right now. Strong, powerful doing statements!
Maybe a simple mantra that we call upon when we need to reinforce our beliefs.
When we use powerful tools to help us in our own future success, it’s important that these do become part of our self-talk.
When we then reflect on the title “Can dreams really come true”, it’s quite apparent that the answer is yes! The fact that we store the thoughts in our mind and our future success, the more we dream about them!
“Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe”.
